 | | I moved to Pacoima in 2009 after living in Lake Balboa for 15 years. I own a small catering business, Advantage Catering, that provides event planning services. In addition, I am a systems integrator for production/post-production equipment for the entertainment industry. I have dedicated my career to developing and managing successful businesses, and I want to bring my leadership skills to my community. I serve on the boards of industry organizations, including the Hollywood Post Alliance and the Hollywood Chapter of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, as well as on the Mayor’s Budget Committee. The spirit of volunteerism has played a major role in my efforts to give back to the community and to our society as a whole. I maintain a strong commitment to organizations such as The Red Cross, Big Brothers and Sisters, MEND and other food banks, Team Fox, Komen for the Cure and others. "When you cease to make a contribution, you begin to die.” Eleanor Roosevelt’s words have continually inspired me, and I hope to apply that same dedication to you, the people of Pacoima. The primary reason I serve on the PNC is my belief that life presents us with a choice to be active participants in our government or to leave it to others. Perhaps you will join those of us who have decided to serve. |
